1年ぶりにタイを訪れています。
今回は、タイ第2の都市チェンマイ（Chiang Mai）から、さらに北へと足を延ばし、山間の町パーイ（Pai）を目指しました。
パーイは、温泉や渓谷、山々といった美しい自然に恵まれ、少数民族の文化が今も息づく、のんびりとした空気が流れる町です。タイ映画のロケ地としても知られ、近年はヨーロピアンをはじめ、世界中の旅行者から注目を集めています。
今回は、パーイの町から少し離れた、温泉付きの民宿に宿泊しました。
森に囲まれた静かな隠れ家のような宿で、敷地内には源泉があり、いつでも温泉を楽しむことができます。
自然に包まれながら過ごす時間は、心も体も芯からリラックスさせてくれました。
It’s been a year since my last visit to Thailand.
This time, I ventured further north from Chiang Mai, Thailand’s second-largest city, heading for the mountain town of Pai.
Pai is blessed with beautiful natural scenery—hot springs, valleys, and mountains—and is a laid-back town where the culture of ethnic minorities still thrives. Known as a filming location for Thai movies, it has recently gained attention from travelers worldwide, especially Europeans.
This time, I stayed at a guesthouse with hot springs, a little way outside Pai town.
It was a quiet, secluded hideaway surrounded by forest, with its own natural hot spring source on the grounds, allowing me to enjoy the hot springs anytime.
Spending time enveloped by nature relaxed me to the core, both mind and body.
